About Me
I'm a 19 year old Londoner who studies media in Birmingham, I'm a big lover of music, especially of the genre Afrobeats. I am a media professional who aims to develop a career in music radio doing presenting. As a second year media and communication student, I focus my studies on areas that would help me achieve this, such as doing modules such as live radio, music programming and radio documentaries.
This blog is to showcase some of my work on radio and also my personal interests.

Personal Development
Since 2008 I have studied media. From GCSE, to A level to a Degree. I believe that my passion and interest lies in this field. I although knew I wanted a career in the media but I just did not know what exactly in the media I wanted to study. I started out my degree as a television specialist, though after doing Radio Production in year one semester two I found that my desire was for radio. Since then I changed and have been a radio specialist.
Over the years I have set myself some short term goals for things I would love to achieve within 5 years after I graduate such as going to Camp America doing something media related, having my own specialist Afrobeats show at a community radio station and having a breakfast show at a commercial radio station.
Looking back from when I decided I wanted a career in media till now and all the work experience I have managed to land since, I am happy with where I am at and what I have done, although I am not yet 100% satisfied and would still love to get involved with radio in university and in commercial radio, around London.
Working at the community station New Style Radio in Birmingham taught me how imperative it is to learn basic skills at such a station so that I am much more prepared when I go in to bigger stations. Moreover I learnt and understood what I need to do to get to the place I need to be and how I could go about doing this and how to network.
Short Term and Long Term Goals
Having short term and long term objectives would enable me to critically assess where I am and where I want to be and how I can go about making this achievable.
Current Short Term Goals
