July Top 10 Favourite Afrobeat Tracks

The Afrobeat scene seems to be taking off lately, especially how Antenna by Fuse ODG has absolutely blown and he is performing at this years Wireless Festival.
If it was up to me I would have a top 100 because I more or less love every song.

My top 10 current afrobeat tracks lately are:

1: Limpopo - Kcee: There is a part to the song where its just the instrumentals playing and that part gets to me. This song is still fresh but I can definitely tell this tune is going to pop.

2: Be my Lady - Ruffcoin ft Iyanya: This song and the beat just reminds me of "the soul of Africa".

3: Repete - Black Magic: The Yoruba in this song gets to me. I love the soulful but deep sound to this song.

4: No Size - EL:

5: Catch my Heart - Ezi Emela ft Scobs & Mista Silva:

6: The Kick - Wande Coal ft Don Jazzy:

7: One of a Kind - Davido: This song has a sweet summer vibe to it. Davido talks about travelling and meeting a special someone who is just "one of a kind".

8: Rotate - Wande Coal: The beat alone to this song will make you twist and turn. Wande Coal commands us ladies to rotate our waist.

9: Sean Tizzle - Sho Lee: This is a club banger, I don't know what he is saying but it sure sounds good.

10: Watch my Ting Go - Lola Rae: "17, 18, 19, Gbagada" - the most catchy part of the song. This is definitely another club banger

I would love to talk about every song but I feel the same about them all. I love the beat, the African party wedding vibe to them. I cannot sit still to either of them.
My hope is that Afrobeats continues to blow and that my dream of presenting an afrobeat show on radio comes true.
